Busch Gardens started life as a safari park and it still houses a large collection of animals now. It is possible to go on Safari and actually feed the animals, including Giraffes, which is hilarious. If you wish to do this, then you have to book it locally, although you do still need a separate entrance ticket, so you should still buy your actual Busch Gardens pass in the UK. However the main attraction for a lot of people is the number of rides. It has no less than 7 roller coasters as well as 2 water rides, which really do give you a soaking. We recommend buying one of the cheap park ponchos, especially if you are riding them in the morning, or you will spend the rest of the day very damp!
The park is actually in Tampa Bay, which is about an hour and a half from Orlando by car. A free shuttle bus runs from SeaWorld however, and is included on most Busch Gardens passes (except one day admittance).
Our favourite attractions: Rhino Ralley, Sheikra (Vertical drop roller coaster), Gwazi (rickety, wooden coaster)
