Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens started life as a safari park and it still houses a large collection of animals now.  It is possible to go on Safari and actually feed the animals, including Giraffes, which is hilarious.  If you want to feed the animals at Busch Gardens, this comes at an additional cost to your actual entrance ticket and needs to be booked locally. Your entrace ticket to Busch Gardens, on the other hand, should be bought in the UK. However the main attraction for a lot of people is the number of rides. Busch Gardens is packed full of some of the most thrilling rollercoasters in the whole of central Florida and some absolutely drenching water rides! We recommend buying one of the cheap park ponchos, especially if you are riding them in the morning, or you will spend the rest of the day very damp!

The park is actually in Tampa Bay, which is about an hour and a half from Orlando by car.  A free shuttle bus runs from SeaWorld however, and is included on most Busch Gardens passes (except one day admittance).

Our favourite attractions:  Rhino Ralley, Sheikra (Vertical drop roller coaster), Gwazi (rickety, wooden coaster)
