Ok, so it may be a bit long in the tooth compared to the likes of Disney's Blizzard Beach or Aquatica, but W'n'W remains a firm family favourite. Why? Because it's simply a whole lot of fun and it's central location means that if you want to enjoy a morning at the shops, and don't want a load of stragglers, drop them off here first for an absolutely brilliant time.
Check out the huge list of rides:
Brain Wash – Jump in a tube with a few mates and prepare to rides the walls of a 6-storey extreme tube ride complete with 50-ft vertical drop!
The Storm – Most people think of this as being flushed down a huge toilet – but a lot more fun!
The Bomb Bay – Makes me tingle just thinking about it. Climb into a capsule suspended over a drop of 76 feet, and wait for the doors to open!
Wake Zone – Open from May thru September. If you're ever fancied a bit of water-skiing, or wake boarding, here's your chance.
Mach 5 – 3 Twisting, racing flumes covering a massive 1700 feet
Disco H2O – A multi-person ride through flashing lights and groovy disco sounds
The Black Hole – A 2 person tube ride through 500 feet of twisting, turning darkness!
The Flyer – A four person taboggan run!
There's even more, but we don't want to ruin all the surprises. Suffice to say, that the kids will be busy for a long-time and if you fancy something a little more laid back, head over to the Lazy River or the Wave Pool. Or if you feel a family challenge coming on, how about Beach Volleyball?
Finally, not forgetting the little one's; there's also a fantastic section of the park which is devoted to mini-versions of the adult rides.
