Florida Magic Tickets

Part of the Seligo / Unpackaged Holidays group of companies, this new site has been brought to our attention by a regular Ticket Truth visitor.
Florida Magic Tickets issues e-tickets for Disney which is a new concept and appears to have some benefits but also some drawbacks.
Benefits
a) An e-ticket is a voucher so it can be replaced if lost or stolen
b) Ideal for last minute bookings
c) No waiting for the post to arrive
d) Flexible and generous cancellation policy

Drawbacks
a) Not so great if you don't have a good quality printer as can create problems scanning.
b) Vouchers / e-tickets still need to be exchanged for the actual tickets at the gate of Disney which can take considerable time.
c) Actual tickets have been paid for in advance by the suppliers so are as good as cash.  Vouchers are only 'pieces of paper' until they get redeemed.  As a result, they become worthless should something happen to the company that they're bought from.
d) Prices for actual tickets are usually more stable than for vouchers which are more likely to fluctuate with the exchange rate

Who are they?

Seligo / Unpackaged Holidays have been around for 15 years but this new site doesn't have much / any brand recognition at the moment.

Do they have a brochure?

Afraid not.

Is the website any good?

It's heavily focused on Disney perhaps to the detriment of other attractions, but we found the booking engine was almost as easy to use as American Attractions.

What's their customer service like?

This company don't appear to want people to call them but they are open during office hours and we found that the operator has 'reasonable' product knowledge when we called them.  However, they suggested that we book online.

The operator we called didn't know which Disney water park was closed during December and January.  However, she was polite and courteous

Do you get tickets or vouchers?

Vouchers for Disney and all of the minor attractions.  Tickets for Universal and SeaWorld.

What about prices?

Fairly competitive since they can save money on delivery / postage fees.

How quick do they deliver?

Immediate for Disney tickets since they are all e-tickets.  14 days for everything else

When are they open?

Office hours for the reservation lines
24 hour on-line

Do they have a good range of stuff?

Hmmm, no.  In short, there's not much choice
